Göran Öhlund and his son Christer founded Roslagens Helikopter in 1974. In the beginning, this father-and-son team mainly used Enstrom ENF28 piston-engine helicopters for pilot training.
For the first 16 years, Roslagens Helikopter’s offices were located at the old airfield in Norrtälje (now closed). The company later relocated to the newly-built airfield at the Görlas industrial estate in 1990. Göran decided to retire in conjunction with the move and Carl Meyer joined the company as a part-owner/pilot. Carl is now the company’s CEO and Accountable Manager.
Proflight Nordic’s pilot training school has developed greatly since its humble beginnings in 1974 and is now a leader in Sweden, with authorisation to offer everything from Private Pilot License (PPL) to Commercial Pilot License (CPL) training.
We also offer a wide range of advanced training courses for licensed pilots. Read about our training courses ›
