TR – Type Rating

You need to hold a type rating for each type/size of helicopter you want to fly.

Proflight Nordic’s TR/PC training programme includes a technical briefing. Following this briefing, you will fly for at least two hours together with an instructor (depending on the type of aircraft and your previous experience).

The programme concludes with a skill test performed with an examiner present. (Does not apply to renewals or proficiency checks.)

Proflight Nordic is authorised and equipped to approve type ratings/proficiency checks for the following machines:

The course includes

• Depending on type and prior experience:
• Theory
• Followed by flying, min. 2 hours for SE turbine
• 3 hours for ME turbine
• The course concludes with a skill test performed with an examiner present.
