CPL – Commercial Pilot Licence

Working as a helicopter pilot or being able to get paid for flying is a dream for many. To achieve this, a CPL is required.

The training includes both advanced theoretical studies and more demanding practical elements. While the program is challenging in many ways, it is by no means unattainable.

During the CPL training, your practical helicopter flying skills are refined to a high level. The course also includes advanced instrument training and night flying training—everything needed to meet regulatory requirements and to make you a safer, more professional pilot.

The training consists of both theory and flight instruction.

The flight training includes a minimum of 35 hours, of which:
– 20 hours are general flight training
– 10 hours are instrument flying
– 5 hours are night flying

The training concludes with a skill test conducted by an examiner.
